For many years, VINCI Airports has been committed to a proactive policy, beyond its legal obligations, to promote an ambitious environmental approach within its airports. Within this framework, the Lyon-Bron Airport operator, the State services, local elected officials, local residents' associations and users (aeronautical companies, flying clubs, training schools), having met within the Consultative Commission for the Environment (CCE), chaired by the Prefect of the region, have together defined an environmental charter.
This charter aims to reconcile everyone's interests: quality of life for local residents, user activity and the management and economic activity of the airport, particularly in the context of its public service mission, as defined in article R224-1 of the Civil Aviation Code.
